HS Tech Index Futures and Options Trading Issues Update

Dear Valued Clients,

Please note that the trading hours and contract months of HS TECH Index Futures and Options will be revised as below effective from 28 November 2022 (Monday):

1. HS TECH Index Options are available for trading in the After-Hours Trading (T+1 session), since then both Hang Seng TECH Index futures and options can be traded in the T+1 session.
Trading Hours:
09:15 – 12:00 (T Session)
13:00 – 16:30 (T Session)
17:15 – 03:00 (T+1 Session)

2. Additional Short-dated and Long-dated expiries contract months for HS TECH Index futures and options trading

Revised contract months available for trading:
Short-dated expiries: Spot month, next three calendar months and next three calendar quarter months;
Long-dated expiries: The three months of June and December following the Contract Months specified for Short-dated expiries.
